Delete your account

This page applies to the iFire, iCrew and iRescue mobile applications, all published by Kernow Software Ltd. The deletion process is the same across all three apps.

You can delete your account and the personal data associated with it at any time. Two routes are available — pick whichever suits you.

Option 1 — Delete from inside the app

This is the fastest route and is available to anyone who can still sign in.

  1. Open the app on your phone.
  2. Tap the menu (top-left) and choose Settings.
  3. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account.
  4. Confirm when prompted. Your account is removed immediately and you are signed out.

Option 2 — Email request

If you have lost access to the app (lost device, uninstalled, no working email login), email us and we will action the deletion manually.

To meet our legal, accounting and operational obligations we retain a small amount of information after your account is deleted:

If you have a specific question about what is retained for your account, email us at the address above and we will tell you exactly what we still hold.

Effect on station data

Deleting your account does not delete your colleagues' data or your station's records. If you were the only member of a station, that station will be automatically removed by our scheduled clean-up process. Messages you sent to others remain visible to those recipients with your name replaced by "(deleted user)".
